Dear Members and Friends Welcome to the very first newsletter of the Australian Participatory Community Development Institute! Following our successful launch at both the Melbourne and Queensland Community Development Conferences, I am excited to share that the new Board has already convened twice. Our primary focus has been on organizational development, ensuring that we are well-prepared to advance our mission. As a participatory organization, the next significant step is the formation of the Interim Council, which will serve as the beating heart of our Institute. I look forward to collaborating with you and your organizations on this journey to enhance the practice of participatory community development across all disciplines and civil society. Together, we can make a meaningful difference!
